A raisin in the sun
Setting: Younger’s house with old furnitures, couch covers, chairs was moved, several rooms
Time: Sometime between World War II and the present.
Place: Chicago’s Southside.
Rush is a 30 years old woman and she is the mother of Travis, who is a 11-year-old boy. She was waking her son and her husband Walter up. Then Ruth and Walter had a conversation about money or something. Then Ruth starts to cook breakfast. Travis was in the bathroom. Ruth is angry about Travis that he got money from grandma. I think later, everything is kind of around money. Travis asks his mother for 50 cents. His dad, Walter gives he some money. Then Walter argued with Ruth about the check. And Mama was talking about money with Ruth. That is something impressed me a lot.
